Where do u guys get ur beading for ur snakes? Cause pet stores are really expensive, and I am a money saving person , Does Home Depot sell anything u can use for beading? I know u can use newspaper but it looks kinda bad and I would rather use something with some class to it.

Lowes or Home Depot has that commercial grade carpeting that isnt too expensive, and you can really wash it out We were buying enough to cover all our tanks twice and then making 2 pieces for each cage. that way, one can be cleaned while the other is being used. However, we ended up just going to newspaper after our larger boas pooped a couple of times
Also I think Adrya_Webb uses unprinted newsprint. She has the link for it. Says it isnt too expensive by the roll and looks better than the newspapers
WalMart has Aspen shavings in pet area

They also sell Cypress Mulch in the gardening sections. Make sure it's pesticide free.

Why not just use newspaper? I've always used that and have been mite and impaction free. Plus it's cheap and easy to replace.

I've used Cypress for almost 2 years now and I love it. I've never had a "Knock on Wood" problem from it. It looks natural and it holds heat and humidity really well.
