i almost bought an adult male jampea dawrf retic at the hamburg show in december, he was about 7 feet long all tho ive seen some at 5ft. Best colors i've ever seen on a dwarf. His temperment was awesome, the guy took him out for me to hold and he was very calm. of all the dwarfs i've ever seen i've never come across a nastey one or an unhealthy one. Very good snakes

Jamps still get around 15' for females. they are "dwarfs" technically. "dwarf" retics for the most part is about locality. there are retics out there that are two years old and only 5-6' and have bred. only problem is their wild caught and often come with disease and alot of medical problems.

Hello,
I have seen jamps that are 15'+ but I have also seen some that are only 10'+. Dwarf retics are still relatively new so you can't really give an accurate description as far as size goes.
The 5' retics you were talking about breeding are actually super dwarf retics. The largest one yet is 10' although most have stayed smaller than 7'. That is not to say that if you get a sd it won't get 10'+. There are very few CB super dwarfs in the states so they don't yet know if these "dwarf" snakes will get larger as more generations are bred.

the dwarfs are still pretty big, the superdwarfs are the little ones they only get about 5-7 feet long, which is pretty neat to me considering its a dwarf of one of the largest snakes in the world
