Burmese python breeding

*No worry I have NO intentions of actually breeding burms*

I just want to know if captive burms breed only once a year at certain times, like March-April so the clutchs are born May to June. I bought a burm at the hamburg show last october and was told she was hatched two months prior. Yet at the lancaster show on Saturday i was talking to an vendor with a granite burm roughly the size of mine, actually a tad smaller. He told me she was a year old, which was kind of surprising, because here i was thinking my burm is only 7 months old and is larger than this snake. I have by no means power fed princess, she was fed one prey item every 7 or 8 days.

What made me ask, is also the upsetting part because he told me if she was as small as i claimed she was in october then she was a "problem feeder" for that vendor. Either that or she was imported, which would give me a greater chance at a later hatch date. but he was pretty much set on the fact that burms hatch just once a year in late may maybe early june? Just wanted to double check. Thanks
