African Rock Morphs?
Does anyone know of any African Rock morphs out there? I once had an African Rock, but he was had a super nasty temperment. I have heard of Retic morphs tending to be more docile, as in Super-Tiger/Tiger Retics, does this occur in African Rock morphs? (If there are any). I would like to someday own another Rock, they are gorgeous, but without the nasty temperment. If anyone knows of any morphs, pics or links would be great!

oops, didnt read your post right, but ya, all ive seen is a patternless rock, regular, and hypo, but there are a few burms that get crossed with rocks, but dont know any info on them. Id just hope it would take looks of the Rock and temperment of the burm.

That would be nice, burm tude with the pattern of a rock. Based on the searching that I have done around the net trying to find any shred of even a semi calm Rock, I am beginning to think they might not exist. The only time, and absolute only time I could really ever handle the baby rock I had owned, was when he had a full stomach. And even that, was about a 2 to 3 day window of handling time, till the next time he fed. On a normal day, he might let you pick him up without nipping you a few times, but even then, you had to watch him close. The reason being, out of no where, he would just try to lunge out of your hands and take off. Then you had to try and get him back in the enclosure while he would be throwing a nipping fit.

Everytime i pick up my Rock he is calm...well,hyper, but not aggro to me. He moved around a lot, but is friendly with me, but they are easily aggrevated, if theyre shedding and having trouble, dont help them shed, dont hold them too long, they will go on you, and if you keep holding him, then he will bite. But any time i just go pick him up, he is fine.
On another forum there is another person who has an 8' Rock, that is also docile. I hope to have mine completely tame all along, just gotta work with them.Just not enough generations of breeding them in captivity, and not very commonly kept.

I have seen the axanthic ones. Beautiful but too pricey for an unproven morph (as far as Afrocks morphs go) with an attitude.
