stupid human trick
saw on the local kc,mo. news ths morning that a 14 yr old reached into his 10 ft. burms cage holding a rabbit. guess what the burm missed and got thekids arm. the parents had no idea how to remove the snake from the arm so the snake got a blast from an extinguisher compliments of the fd. how can someone have an animal that is potentially dangerous in their house and not know what to do in case of the inevitable(spelling?) bite?

Sound like Natural Selection to me. Unfortunately the snake will have to suffer for the selection though.
Heres your sign...

Keeping giants demands the same sort of respect for the animals lethality as keeping HOTs does. Unfortunately it's not always given. I've had arguments with people who really believed that their Burmese Python wasn't dangerous at all and that the precautions I take during handling/feeding etc... made me some kind of "sissy". Unfortunately for the herp community some people just won't be educated because they are either too macho, too stupid or both.

these people are the reason the are warning tags on everything. I think they need to just let people try to blow dry there hair in the shower. it would help with population control. my2 cents

that's kinda what i've heard... any sort of alcohol (maybe not beer though... lol).
I was watching one of those "When animals attack" shows... a guy was being constricted by his Burm, and his friend grabbed a bottle of vodka (i think) and poured it around the snake's mouth/head, and they said the Burm immediately let go.

There is a reason why they make Darwin Awards even though this idiot only gets an honorable mention (meaning that he can still contribute to the gene pool). Also anything over 40 proof works well.
