Weird lumps on Af Rock Python

My Rock pythin is a little under 3' long, and on his lower body he has weird lumps, they are under the skin, so no skin is broke open or anything. He is also refusing f/t or p/k prey, last feeding he refused a totally live rat pup also. I scheduled a vet appointment for him this monday, but id still like to here your inputs.
