Funny that, our big male hates being misted. You would think I was spraying battery acid on him or something!

If the snake is shying away from the spray it may be too cold. The fine mist coming out of the bottle cools very quickly. If you are using a normal sprayer you can put hot water in it to spray the snake. Just spray some on your hand before spraying the snake to make sure it's not too hot.

My Critters used to hate it as well... now I get the water HOT, just over 120f and put it in a garnden sprayer... now when I mist them they come out of their hides and will move around so I get ever inch.. kinda funny really.

When I used to mist my burm with warm water, he too acted like i was spraying him with acid. A couple times i had to make sure i didnt grab the cleaner spray bottle.lol (no I never switched them) he just hated it.
