Diablo...are they worth the wear and tear of your pocket to own them...I have been wanting an albino burm and a retic for the longest. I was able to get the burm, that was later killed, but I never got a chance to get my retic. Like I stated I have a 8 1/2 ft burm now, and has far comparison; which would you prefer the burm or the retic and why, if you don't mind me asking. Shuba I love the avitor....

I have rocks, a big burm, annies, boas - everything under 8ft goes into totes, everything over in the cages.
Once the large constrictors hit about 10ft, they are PERMANENTLY hungry.
Except for the rocks - once they hit 2ft ... !!!!!!

I feed all my snakes in their cages. I've found the association thing to be a complete myth. If you are looking after your animal properly then you are opening the cage door at LEAST once every 2 days to clean water bowls and spot clean, most likely every day, in which case I don't believe it's possible for the animal to form a feeding association when food comes in only every 7 or 14 days. Feeding large constrictors outside of the enclosure is asking for trouble imho.

JonnyArmani41,
Here are a couple more pics that show the size of the rabbit better. You will see how big it really is. It's head was bigger than a softball.

Actually, for big snakes you usually have a custom enclosure. I think a trap door, in a back corner of the cage on the top works great. Usually on the warm side. Just a trap door that you can unlock and lift up from the outside, and either drop or dangle the prey through the opening. That way, the snake knows food comes there, and not through the door of the enclosure. As long as there is no loose substrate, and you keep on newspaper or something similar, it's very easy, and practically zero chance of being bitten by mistake. Just my .02.

I hope you would do your dangling with some tongs and not your fingers
