Nope, when i took him out of the box, he was mean, chased me and struck 3 times, then after he was in his cage a few hours, hes tame as a kitten now

shweet !!!! I've got 1.1, they have mellowed very well. They rate well above my annies
on the snakes-I-dont-particularly-want-to-handle-but-have-to scale.
The female is still a little huffy and puffy until you've got her out (she's tagged me twice, both SFE's )
but the male is an absolute honey.

I have a Ball Python,pacman frog, emperor scorpions, leopard gecko, Guyana redtail Boa, and now that Rock python.

Ty, ya ive had more experience than BP's...maybe not enough for a Rock but i know ill beable to deal with him. i have a boa, have handeled some burms, and retics, not huge ones, but big enough to get a feel for this guys size. Now i just need somethin to prepare me for the attitude I already h | |
