are Tokay geckos noisy??
I'm considering adding a Tokay gecko to my collection. However, I keep my animals in my bedroom....sooo...I hear they make trilling sounds n' stuff. Do they do this frequently? when do they do it? is it really loud?
tnx all

Tokays ARE noisy. They make some neat sounds, but they get annoying after a while.

you shouldnt have a problem with your tokay, They "bark" most of the time when your trying to pick'em up. most do it so rarley that you might enjoy the occasional bark but other than that you should be fine
Tokays are my favorite Gecko and from expireince i kno that you will have a lot of fun

truthfully in the time i have owned herps there has only been one group (yes i said group) that constanly barked for no reason
i have seen hundreds of tokays and for the most part they are pretty silent every once and a while you'll run across a barker...but not as often as you would think either way its kinda relaxing IMO
