My first herp

I just got my first herp yesterday from the Daytona show. It is a fire morph crested gecko. I hope it is a male then I am going to breed it with BoaGuys female. I am planning on more lizards. My mom wont let me get any sankes [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] I want a bearded dragon and some leos probally another crested.

	Morph A morph is a color or pattern variation that is proven to be genetic. Common morphs include albino, anerythristic, gentically striped, Hypomelanistic, and many others. Morphs also include combinations of simple traits such as "Sunglow" which is Albino and Hypomelanistic. These traits may be recessive traits, co-dominant traits, dominant traits, or created through selective breeding (ie Pastel).

No snakes! That's awful! Just take your mom over Boaguy's house and show her how fun, "friendly", and cute (if you will) they can be... and be subtle about getting a snake.... don't bug her just desensitize her to the idea by talking about how some make fairly easy "pets" .... and start off with something easy and not too big... like a corn... you'd be surprised how quickly non-herping women can get endeared to corns... the boas are facinating and noble looking but mom's tend to flock toward the "cute" and colorful ones... just my expericence....
i'd vote for a leo or another crestie as your second though.... initally, smaller is better....

I have owned 3 snakes in the past one of wich was a corn snake. The other two were kings,a Califiorna king and Fl king. She didnt seem to mind when they were small but when they got big i had to get rid of them [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] She has been to BoaGuy's house already.

i can't believe that she'd make you get rid of the snakes once they got big... corns and cali's don't even get that big... tisk tisk
beardies are bigger in terms of weight and room taken up than a corn... sheesh... has she approved a beardie as a pet for you yet?
