Leopard Gecko?
So my girlfriend found this little guy in her patio furniture and fell in love. I think it's a leopard gecko of some sort but I'm not sure. She already bought a 10g tank, moss, water dish, and basking light. I'm not sure about these little guys and could use some help. He/she is tiny! what should we feed it, how much, how often, any other good info. As far as I can dig up, we need to switch it to newspaper for a while, keep the temp above 70 and get it a hide. Thanks for your help!

Re: Leopard Gecko?
Some sort of Hemidactylus from what I can tell. We have several species in the area. Not a leo. People refer to them as house geckos.
You can keep them about at room temp and they eat appropriately sized crickets.

Re: Leopard Gecko?
Yep, what she said!
He looks like he has sticky toepads, right? Leos actually belong to a group of geckos that have little claws instead of toe pads.
Very cute
