Re: New Crestie
We just got a new crested gecko too. We found that if we just put in teaspoon of food, it's more than enough and you can tell if any has been taken. We put ours in a water bowl cap, since our bowls are a little over kill for our lil dude. Depends on the size, though. Ours is only a couple of months old. Do you have any pics?

Re: New Crestie
Crickets are good too. The cresties are unbelievably cute when they hunt for them. If yours is a baby, you would want to do pinheads like ours. _Sam_ is a Gecko Efficienado, if you really want to know more I'd say ask her.

Re: New Crestie
looks good. look like is a little bigger than ours though. ours can hub my pinkie and hop off it to my hand or something... tiny little dude. we give him 1 part cgd and 1.5-2 part water. i like it to be a little more on the gooey side than the soupy side. we put it in one night take it out the other and thats pretty much it. put some crickets in on sunday (about 5-8 little pinheads) and he's gotten to most of em, i still see 1 or 2 in there but he'll get through those throughout the week.
