Okay very strange thing

Okay so here's the deal I have a leopard gecko female who is living in a 10 gallon tank with a screen lid. Well a few weeks ago (like 5 or 6) my father found a little baby house gecko outside nearly frozen to death and he stuck in it the cage with my leopard gecko so it could warm up.

So after completely freaking out on him I tore the cage completely apart and sanitzed everything except the humid hide (don't know why I didn't tear it apart too but at the time I didn't). When I didn't find the house gecko alive or dead I assumed my leopard gecko must have eaten it since it was just a baby. I have watched my gecko SUPER close for these last few weeks and she's still acting completely healthy and eating regularly.

The strange thing is I saw the baby house gecko in her cage yesturday laying under my leopard's chin. They were sitting in the hide together. When I opened the cage to try and catch it it took off into another hide. I think its because my leopard is used to being hand fed her food and is well fed (my father feeds her every day to every other day depending on how much she eats so probably over feeding but she isnt fat) that she doesn't eat the baby house gecko.

So my questions are...
1) I know cohabitation is not good but is it going to kill my leopard to have it in there with her after all this time? I'm still trying to catch it to put it in its own cage but my Leopard seems okay with it in there and isnt acting stressed at all.
2) what do these eat? It is so tiny but was living in the cage for a few weeks without any food that I could tell unless it was eating like the droppings from my leopard before I got to them (sounds gross but its the only thing I could figure).
3) if I do manage to catch it and put it in its own home what would be the proper requirements for it.

I'm going to try to get a picture of it as soon as I can get close enough to it so I can also try to get a positive ID on it.

It will eat small crickets/other small bugs but because it is wild there is always the risk of it passing parasites on to your leo (not just likely but almost surely with cohabbing)

And your leo will probably take a bite out of it one of these days. If you want to keep it put it in it's own cage for both of their sakes
