Got some Tokays
Well I acquired two tokays over the weekend. Beautiful animals the typical tokay attitude which just makes them more fun.
They're currently in a spare 4x2x2 I have but I'll be getting a new viv with a bit more height at the end of the month. I'm hoping for a 3ft high minimum but hopefully 4ft high, 2 or 2.5ft wide and 2ft deep.
They're great at hiding and I don't want to stress them out too much with photo's so I just took some pics of their viv, there is a bit more to be done to it but it should be ok for now. I've ordered some cork bark tubes and I'm sterilising some logs so they can climb on them.
Mobile phone pictures so apologies for that and the reflection!
I'll get some pictures of the tokays tonight hopefully.

Tokays!! I just picked up a female this past weekend. Hoping for some baby barking blue chainsaws next year-ish. Nice setup.

I'm still reluctant to bother them too much because I only got them on Saturday. I managed to get 2 crappy pictures of the male this evening.
I'm hoping to have some nice baby tokays in the future as well but I've got a bit of research to do on it first. I love they're barking, the male was barking most of last night.

Yeah but with sliding glass doors, I don't think it would be possible. I'll be getting another viv built soon. I'm hoping for 4-5ft high which should be more than enough for them. I really like them and they're barking is cool.
