Help Trying to introduce a new leo

Ok, so I just got a new little APTOR female for my birthday coming up, and I want to eventually introduce her to my other female. I know I should wait til she is the same size as my first one before I put them together, and I have been trying to get them acquainted. Does anyone have any advice from experience on how to make this process smoother. Also, I heard that when I finally do try and put them together that I should rearrange the tank so the older female doesn't feel like its her turf as much.

Thanks for the help and I will try and post some pictures of her soon!

Re: Trying to introduce a new leo

if possible, completely clean and rearrange the tank. there shouldnt be too much territory issue with females, but be careful. I've seen some very aggressive females, so just keep a very close eye on them

Make sure you keep them separate for at least 30-60 days before trying to introduce them, even if they are the same size.

Re: Trying to introduce a new leo

I've introduced all 6 of my females to each other without any serious issues and they are living together just fine. Some of them were a little younger and smaller than others but I just made sure that everyone got enough food and fed them by hand using some feeding tweezers.
