that's one of the best things about cresties, if you don't want to feed them live food, you don't necessarily have to. I feed crickets just because they do seem to enjoy them. the Repashy CDG is all you need to keep them happy and healthy though. Cheap and easy
Please, just dont feed baby food. there is no reason to and there is unnecessary sugars and whatnot that they do not need.
as for set ups....I'll see what i can dig up. I don't have any really elaborate set ups. I bought a fully planted tank once and ended up killing all the plants. I dont do plants haha. I can keep tons of geckos, but give me a plant and I will almost certainly kill it.
I would suggest a small container for a baby (under 4ish grams). something like a plastic critter keeper works fantastically. as they grow, a 10 galon works fine (taller tanks are better though, so if you turn it on its end, its much better). I have custom 16 gallons that i absolutely LOVE and suggest for adults, but I've only been able to find them locally. a 15 or 20-long on-end would work great, or a 20-tall.
here are a few of mine, not exactly updated, but its what i have laying around:
20-long
this WAS a planted tank.. not anymore. 18x18x18 exo-terra
29-gal: custom with sliding doors
20-gal: custom with sliding doors
18x18x24 Zoo-med tank
I'll throw up some more later, I'm in class and its just ending so i gotta run :P
