Well, I don't know anything about banana geckos. I don't know if anyone else here does. I figured I'd post a picture for anyone who hasn't seen one. Perhaps you could find out on other more gecko-specific sites. Maybe look up the normal weather conditions in its native range. Trace, why do you want one? They look nothing like bananas. Hey BWW, I searched for like an hour and can't find a thing related to the care on these guys. You may just have to email some of the breeders about how they care for these guys or research the climate of it's native range like Bry said. Sorry to not be of much help, but there is very very little on the internet about banana geckos.

hahaha very funny Bry, no they dont look like bananas.. I have a pair of these geckos i got at a swap.. And i still havent come up with any good info.. Someone did explain to me that they are very much like the G. Vorax gecko and i have set them up the same as for the Vorax.. They seem to be doing well, watched them drink drops of water from the glass caught one by the water dish and then seen one eatting banana /appricot baby food, tonight, i think they just need time to settle in.. They have been moving around checking out there branches and the live plants, but in few weeks in am uping there cage size and putting in more plants and more branches. Im gona get ahold of Gecko King and see if they know anything.. As soon as i get pics il give um to Bry to put in... Cassies very happy with them....

Those little suckers are ALL OVER HAWAII. We stayed in a house there and there were at least 50 in the house that i personally saw. I was tempted to bring some home with me but figured i'd lose em in airport security
