I have a pair of viper tail geckos. For those of you who do not know what they are, they are very small geckos, mostly tan and white striped, with tan dots on them. As I was cleaning thier cage, I uncovered 4 eggs. I put them in a tupperware with potting soil and some vermiculite, and put them back in her cage. I have been told that this particular species of geckos do not need any special incubation temps or humidity levels. Anyone familiar with these species? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't really know that much about them--didn't even know that I had a male and a female until a short time ago. I am having a hard time finding any info. on this particular species. I am currently at GI now..will keep ya posted.

Ive worked with several dozen species of geckos... what are they?
I know you said viper tail, but I have no idea what those are.
if they are Teratolepis fasciata then I would suspect you incubate them around 80 and 80-90% humidity just like many other soft shelled eggs.

I don't know much about this species either but, I did find a care sheet on breeding and how to take care of the eggs.
It says to put the eggs on dry sand or dry paper towel at temps of 82-85 and humidity should be 30-505 air humidity. Also says she will lay about every 14 days if kept warm and healthy and to expect about 10-12 clutches a year. Hatching time is about 60 days.
The care sheet has other information on this species so here is a link if you need more info.
Viper Gecko Caresheet
Hope that helps some.
