How it all began.....
I was rummaging through some old photos and found this:
That's Zero, my very first crested gecko. I got him Jan 22, 2007.
It's a very poor photo...but my photography skills have improved much since then, too..hehe
This is Zero now:
Oh, and as of last night, he's officially a Daddy. He was paired with my one of my females, Oogie, in early October, and she laid her first pair of eggs (of the season, not ever) last night. yayyy
So I get babies from my first baby...it's very exciting!

He's gorgeous, and I love the contrast against the pumpkin.
Great shots, and congratulations to the soon-to-be-father!

Re: How it all began.....
What a beautiful little fellow! I just love his colour. I plan on adding either a leopard or crested gecko to my room but crested geckos just seem more pretty... and these photos are helping me decide lol.
Are they good for handling? I know I can handle most leopard geckos well.

cresteds are awesome.. seriously. Check out some of the other photos I've posted.. you'll want one even more. they are awesome little creatures. I have both leos and cresteds and although I love them both, I have to say I like the cresteds better. they're just such a fun species to work with

Hey, it's not my fault they look delicious! lol Just ply me with strawberry shakes, and I'll stay away from the geckos.

Re: How it all began.....
LOL as you wish.
These are eggs from Sally x Jack laid on 11/17/08
and this was Oogie x Zero (^this little guy^) laid on 12/1/08
you only see one egg in the first pic because she'd already buried the other one.. lol. but there really were two, i swear
