can different geckos be housed together
just wondering if different species of geckos can be housed together. i dont know why but i want to build a large gecko enclosure and was curious what all i could put in it. around 6' tall by 4' wide and maybe 2 or 3 feet deep, how many geckos could fit comfortably in somthing like this

Simple answer here is no. It's never a good idea to house more than one reptile in an enclosure and especially not different species. There's just too much to worry about-reptiles by nature are not very social animals, so there is the stress factor. Add to that the fact that they will most likely have different temperature and humidity requirements, the cannibalism risk, the fact that one will most likely be dominant over the other and cause the subordinate to go off feed or just be stressed all the time, competition for basking spots and hides...the list goes on. One reptile per enclosure is the way to go.

I've seen it work, but I dont recommend it at all. I keep each gecko housed separately at all times unless they're breeding.
