day geckos and waterfalls

i just got 2 giant day geckos a few days ago. they are adjusting to their tank fine except they dont go near the waterfall. it hums slightly and is near a wall so they can hang down and drink if they so desire. am i wasting my time with the waterfall in their tank? i mist it 2-3 times daily and they do drink at that time. I also have a drip but ive chosen to use the waterfall over it.

I think they would personally prefer the drip to the waterfall. Not many reptiles actually enjoy those things very much because of the humming sound they made. It was the biggest waste of 30 dollars for my dumerils boa...lol
