dubias & leopard gecko
I've started a colony of dubias roaches to feed my animals, but have had no luck with taking them. My rosie tarantula shows no interest. My leopard gecko and plated lizard also show no interest. They eat the superworms and crickets. Has anyone had any luck? I've tried 1 inch juvies. Will a larger/smaller size be better?

Re: dubias & leopard gecko
Well the problem with dubia's is they do not move around much. Put them in a deli cup and they will run around and attract them. If the dubia's just get put into the tank they just run straight into cover.

Honestly also I mainly just feed them with tweezers and they usually see the roach moving and go nuts. All of the leachies do this. Some of the crested dont. The Oedura do so I am sure the leopard gecko would. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Re: dubias & leopard gecko
I think roaches are not a common food item of leopards

Yes, they are. They are 100X more nutritious then a cricket and make great insect feeders for anything that eats insects. I have three large colonies of Dubia which I feed to everything I have but the snakes of course.

Judge the size of the prey by the size between their eyes.
