They are not too expensive for a hatchling They are incredible to watch. They just come out and explore and dont really care if I am watching them. After you get ahold of them they just stay still and relax in your hand. Very neat geckos. I will be adding 2 more females to this tank for a 1.3 group

They are quite hard to find and are not a very common gecko

Also they look big in those pictures. Ill have to take a picture with one next to a pen. They are pretty small and slender.

Re: Oedura Castelnaui PICS!!!
Those guys are really cool. I'm always nervous about geckos with toe pads though. I used to keep Peacock Day Geckos and believe you me, it nearly gave me a heart attack when one got out and I had to chase it down for like 3 hours throughout my house. I'm sure it was just as stressful for the little guy as it was for me and I don't know how the heck he didn't make a run for one of the AC vents...pure luck I guess.

Re: Oedura Castelnaui PICS!!!
The only geckos I had were 2 of the Peacocks and 2 Leos when I was about 10. I named the Leos "Spot" and "Dot".......I know....I know....very creative for a 10 year old, huh.
