Hi, I was just in my room giving my leopard geckos "stimulap" made by tetrafauna. its a appetite stimulant. I put my tangerine gecko back into the cage when all of a sudden she started to throw up everywhere. Then it climbed on top of the hiding place and rolled off the edge (still throwing up a syrupy liquid) and landed on her back and then kept on rolling around on the ground. she is probally about 4mon. old. help. please. if there is any experianced person out there who can help please do. i was hoping his gecko to be a future breeder.
P.s. it is not active and is throwing up as i type. thanxs-robby-
p.s.s. if you view please please post.

I cant help much with your problem but I do have a question.. Why were you giving it stimulant? Was it not eating for you?
Hang tight. I know you are worried but there will be someone along to answer the question. THere is no need posting the question over and over in different threads.

Another question, were you giving it to him in a bowl or did you tube him for it?

Sounds like you overdosed her or got some down her trachea...at any rate...if she happens to survive this...discontinue use. If she settles down in a little while...make sure she drinks a little water.

answer to the 1st question: Yes it was eating very very little. abou one cricket in like aaaaa 2weeks. Im not lying(in the past on forums people think im lying)
2nd ques.: i let crickets run around in the cage at night and i take them out in the morning. mealworms are in a glass bowl wih calcium suplement. everything is always dusted with herpative or herptivite made by (my favorite) rep-cal. sometimes i feed selective (which ive been doing since of little eaing) feeding. i put them in a serilite for over-night o eat alone on newspaper. thanx for the concern and its looking a little beter(little more active, but ya know)
3rd question: there is a little centimeter long, millimeter thick, tube on the 2oz. bottle and i put a drop on there lip and they lick it until theyve goten to 7 drops.
bye bye

Im looking at an old empty container I have in my "collection", and it says its susposed to be added to water.
Maybe that changed it, but if your gecko is not eating, you should look at the other reasons why it may not eat first.
If it comes back around from this (I would give it some water, fast) you could look at how your keeping it set up.
Leos dont usually have feeding problems unless they are A: too cold/too hot, B:sick from something else, or C: under extreme stress.
do any of those seem like a possibility?
Before you tried the stimulap that is?

Leaving the food in overnight, especially crickets can cause enough stress to make it quit eating also.
Besides, the crickets will bugf it all night long and they will chew on the gecko as well.
Get a seperate feeding tote for it, such as a plastic shoe box and put in just enough crickets that it can eat in about 10 minutes time.
This will keep it from being stressed by the crickets in the enclosure all night and sharpen its hunting skills at the same time.
Also, try other food items such as meal worms as some geckos have a preference for certain foods. For example, we have one that will only eat crickets, and the others will eat anything that moves. We feed them in totes as well so that we can ensure they are all eating well and no accidents such as one biting the other thinking they are food.
Ensure your temps are correct and other husbandry protocol is good also.
By the way, how is your set up?
UTH? Hotrock? Sand? Paper towels? News paper? Heatlamp? Hides? Humid hides?
Tell all so that we can give more help for the little one!
