Plastic Tub Lids
Ok so I drilled holes into lids of tops and wanted to know if I should add more ventilation into the or not. These are for geckos that need a higher humidity (70%+)
19 Quarts
66 Quarts
15 Quarts
Pretty sure the 66 quarts needs more but do ore into the lids or just cut large holes into the sides.

Re: Plastic Tub Lids
If it needs high humidity i would only but hole 1/4 of the tub lid. That many holes might not let you keep all the humidity. Just my 3 cents. You sure did a nice job with the holes. Thomas

Re: Plastic Tub Lids
With mine I do holes along the front/back evenly spaced for cross ventilation, anywhere from six to 50 depending on the size. Then I'll take a gander and either do a smaller number on the sides, or a star pattern.
I use a soldering iron though, to melt it, and in-between rows I use wet newspapers to clean off any excess plastic on the iron. Sort of like a glassblower except I'm not forming something I'm cleaning it.
