Is it possible?
My digi is acting up so I couldnt get pics but is it possible that I have 2 male's. I have been handling them lightly since I rescued them well tonight I was concerned since the one was just laying in the tank next to the glass and wouldnt eat the worms I gave her. Well I looked on line about breeding to see if maybe they had mated and I didnt know it. I seen a pic that shows the difference really clearly between male and female. Well both have the 2 bumps right before the tail and the line of little dot looking bumps... Does this mean I have 2 males?? There has been no fighting and I have seen them like snuggling. Im a bit worried now.. From their size I am guessing them to be maybe 6 or so months old.TIA for any and all help with this.. I am gonna try to get pics to show..

Re: Is it possible?
They both certainly look like boys to me, they have very pronounced hemipenal bulges.

Re: Is it possible?
yeah- definetly both look like boys, I usually dont see the bulges so pronounced, I usually have to go by the pores (shaped like a V).
Two males are usually a big problem. it's very surprising that they havent tried to kill one another. How long have you had them? if it hasnt been long, the one could have just really started to stress out the other (hence him not eating)
i dont know though..

Re: Is it possible?
I rescued these from a lady who told me she had not fed them in 3 weeks on Val. Day. so I have only had them a week. I am not sure how long she had them before I got them other than the 3 week time frame.
Is there a divider I can get to seperate them or is that something I would need to make? Or is it better to just get another tank?
They are now curled up together again snuggling..
Thanks
Dani

Re: Is it possible?
It is better to just get another enclosure. If you only separate them with a divider, they are still subjected to seeing each other.

Re: Is it possible?
I am completely new to these but know they are better with a newbie than with someone who wouldnt feed them... Thanks for your help I have been reading and researching them so much and think I am doing pretty good with them since I knew NOTHING about them LOL..

Re: Is it possible?
it's great that you rescued them .
the good news is that they look healthy (big fat tails).
You should set the other one up in a seperate enclusure, just to be safe.

Re: Is it possible?
Totally two boys! I would definitely separate them...I've seen what Leo males can do to each other and it's not pretty.... They probably haven't fought yet because you just got them. But since they look sexually mature, as soon as they start establishing their "turf" things will start happening.
