They wanna rename her Lindsay Lohan...
At my boyfriend's work they have a little Leo who eats, then throws up. Any idea why? Temp under the lamp's about 85F, she's on sand, she has numerous hides. Should she be on different substrate? I don't, nor have I ever, had a gecko so I was of no help. I have faith in you guys though.

i don't know why she'd be throwing up, and I dont want to start the great sand debate, but i dont like sand. Just to be safe until you know what's wrong with her, switch her to paper towels. A vet visit wouldnt bbe a bad idea either.

Switch to paper just to be on the safe side, but sand should not cause regurging. It may be something simple like a parasite or perhaps something more serious. Either way, it should be quarentined and a fecal sample (and/or the animal) taken to the vet.

also, leos do better with belly heat. use a UTH and put a thermostat on it. put under a side that has a hide. set it to 89-90 |
