fun fun fun!

my leo is about a year old and i held him properly for the first time the other week. He seemed to love it and i stroked his head and he fell asleep! i wanted to know if there is a good way of handling a gecko and if so what is it and any ideas on how to make his home more fun??!!! it seems a tad boring for him because he sometimes climbs up the front glass! Any sugestions on how to make it interesting?

hello. always be carefull with the tail, i always just tend my hand and they immediatly jump on, and mine do the same, as soon as he climbs the front glass that's because he want to go out and with spring coming that become very often, they are so lovely. mine love to be held but do not really like to be touch, you are lucky.

i would say do the hand to hand walk, over the cage, or while sitting down. if he does a sudden burst run, that could be a long drop to the floor, and really harmful for the gecko.

as far as making his cage more interesting, you can go wrong with bigger, more hides and places for him to explore/climb.
