Leopard geckos should be fed crickets, mealworms or silkworms. Some will on occasion take sme nectar fruit (peaches etc) as a treat. Fruit should not be fed as a diet to leopard geckos though. Make sure you gutload your feeder insects before you feed them to your leo.

^^^Very true.. Gutload the crickets to ensure its getting more food into your gecko.. Dusting your crickets with Cricket Dust (can be bought at a petstore) is a really good idea to ensure your gecko is getting nutrients and vitamins.. Try to avoid getting cricket dust with D3 though because too much of that can be bad. My dust does contain D3 so i only dust every other feeding.. Crickets and Mealworms are a really good choice of food sources.. I even mix everynow an then to give a variety

ive noticed with my geko she slow down eating around when shes shedding

I heard that chicken baby food is a good source of food for them. As long as you put a calcium/vitamin supplement in it, they will eat it. Mine aren't eating as much because the it's starting to get colder out.
