Banded Gecko not eating~

i new to geckos and i just bought a banded gecko, it's been 4 days and it's not eating since the day i bought him. The food i'm using currently are crickets which are covered with calcium powders (as suggested by the reptile specialist). I also tried hand feeding it but it spit out the cricket i gave him. The weather in my country is rather hot so i did not use a heat lamp. How do i get him to eat?? i'm afraid it might fall sick and die
