My eggs are covered with debris. The debris has dried on the wet egg. Should I pick it off with tweezers. I don't want to drie the egg out.

Whatever falls off, leave. Whatever stays on, leave. gecko's have this shells, and chances are you'll brake them. Happened to me many times... and the eggs were fine.
Good luck... what kind of gecko's?

Nah, just keep them incubating and moist like normal.
And ya gotta figure this happens in the wild without harm being done.

ooops, I meant thin shells... makes more sence... also, I agree with eddie. in the nature you figure the eggs get covered in leaves and dirt. Really nothing to worry about. Just let the eggs dry completely before handeling or moving. Also, try not to flip the eggs over at all.
Some say it does harm, some say it doesn't... but why risk it?

Nearly every site I have seen that deals in gecko eggs, says to mark a tiny dot on the shell with a marker of some type so you can always be sure of its top side.
This is to prevent the egg from being turned at all in order to prevent the embryo from drowning in the eggs fliuds.
Nut just treat them like normal temp and humids wise, and don't worry about the debris!

Eddie's right, always keep the top side topside.
Don't worry about crap getting stuck to them, it
doesn't matter how much stuff gets stuck, leave it.
Just make sure your temps & humidity are kept right,
then everything should go smooth!

Well they were kind of leathery to start with. They feel just like leather and they give a little bit when you hold them. They are a little soft. Is this normal?

Well they grew mold on them and they stunk to high heaven. But she's pregnant again! Yay! I think I'm going to invest in a hovabator because my methods are not working. I think I either have to high humidity or too low humidity. I know the temperature is right. I don't know where to get a humidity detector, and I don't think the ones at the pet stores are accurate enough.
So hopefully if she lays this batch they will be fertile. She seems to be gaining more and more weight and she eats like a cow. I'm wondering if this would cause too much stress for her laying every month? This is going to be her third clutch!!! Yay!
