I will be getting a leopard soon, and am in the process of getting housing components. I am considering a Reptarium instead of a fish tank: and wondered if any members had any experience and/or opinions on this type of enclosure. Thanks in advanceHARWOOD_J@MSN.COM

Those are the ones with mesh instead of glass sides, right? I wouldn't recommend one. While leopard geckos do not require a lot of humidity, this would still be too dry and not hold heat and humidity well. I have all of my leos in glass tanks with mesh tops, and achieve heating through a heat pad and a rheostat. We have lighting on them but since they are nocturnal, they don't need much during the day except optimal temperatures.

They are pretty sturdy animals once you get them set up properly.
