For all of you out there who are breeding or have bred leopard geckos, How important is it to separate the hatchlings? And what is a good way to house them if separated?

I think the biggest reason you'd want to sepatate them is to make sure they are eating good. It would be hard to tell if one of them isnt eating if you had more than one per cage. You can use those plastic pet carriers to house them until you know they are good eaters, just line the botton with paper towels.

Or do ya mean the rubbermade shoe boxes?
But yeah, like Barry said, hard to tell when they are eating when they are all together like that. And ya won't know till it is too late in some cases.

I was thinking the same thing you guys were basically. Could I maybe feed them seperately in a small plastic container so I can waych them eat?
And I do have a digi camera but it is one pixel and horrible. So the chances of me gettin some pics are pretty low. But I do have some friends with so cameras so I will do my best. i have been wanting to show off my herps.
