Baby Leopord Geckos Missing Tails
Hi I work for a Petsmart store here in PA. I am adopting two 1 inch baby leopord geckos that came in to our store missing their tails. We've had them their for about 3 weeks and their tails haven't started to grow. Will they grow back? or will they just be some funky looking mutants. lol. They are still cool pets to have even if they are deformed. any help would be greatly appreciated

They fell off right after we put them in a quarrintine tank after they arrived. so stress would definately explain why they fell off.

Ok, they wont grow back as nice as they were before and it takes longer then 3 weeks to grow back. I had one that took 3-4 months before it was as long as it was going to grow but it still took another month for it to get fat.

I like pet stores to go and look at stuff.......but then I realize some of the little things are sad....so I feel bad for them...and then I begin to plot the demise of local corprate pet stores.....

lol....your working at a petstore...lol!!! Kidding, I love you to much..
I understand about the "disliking" pet stores. I don't like them due to that there are mites in every store I go too. Everytime I go home after handling a reptile or animal at a store, I got to change out of my clothes JUST in case there are mites. I love my reptiles too much.
Sorry about making fun of you sweet heart. It's just funny that I'm working at a office job, and you work at a petstore.
and I'M the one who owns all these reptiles at home...lol.
