Are fat tailed geckos at all agressive. i held one at the reptile show and the breeder said they are very docile... But at a petstore they said that one bit a lttle boy so i couldnt hold it.. Hey its a petstore so im not banking on the truth. I want to hear from the REAL experts.. you guys!!!! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Yeah, fatties are pretty docile, an aggressive gecko is actually an unusual case. They're a lot like leopard geckos in temperament. Chances are the gecko at the pet store was at least one of four things: wild-caught, severely stressed from being kept incorrectly at the pet store, one of those rare cases of unusually aggressive fattails, or it was just held incorrectly by the little boy.

Thanks ..I am considering getting one. I have falling for geckos they are really neat reptiles. I also want a bearded dragon. Are Geckos easy to maintain? [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

I've got a fat tail an he's the lazyest most tolerent of being prodded pet I have, We have him out about of his viv about an hour a day an he loves it [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] There's a pic of him in the gecko forum on the "I wanted to watch TV .....etc".When I bought him the guy in the shop was really scared of him an said he was known to bite, he has NEVER once tried to do anything than lick me! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Can't recomend them enough, he even tolerates his lead, though he looks silly [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
