Hello

I am planning on getting a male and female leopard gecko pair (double hets albino x paternless) and am trying to calculate some numbers of their offspring. I would like to breed them next year and then breed their offspring for some albino patternles. Is there much of a market for hets? I am sure I will have plenty..and about how many do females lay a season? And what does everyone thing about *disposing* of eggs that are unwanted? That was suggested to me but I dunno.. Anyway here are my numbers..thanks for any help!

Leopard Gecko Offspring out of 16 eggs
Male/Female = Double het albino x paternless

2 eggs het for albino
1 egg should be albino
2 eggs het for paternless
4 eggs should be het for albino x paternless
2 eggs should be albino het for paternless
1 egg should be paternless
2 eggs should be paternless het for albino
1 egg should be patternless and albino
1 egg will be normal

There is an 88% chance a normal will be het for either albino or paternless or both.

There is a 22% chance that a normal will be het for albino.

There is a 22% chance that a normal will be het for paternless.

There is a 44% chance that a normal will be a het for albino x paternless.

There is an 11% chance that a normal will not be a het.

There is a 66% chance that an albino will be het for paternless.

There is a 66% chance that a paternless will be het for albino.

There is a 6.25% chance that there will be a paternless albino.
