OK, so I've been patient, but now I'm getting frustrated. I have been unable to access the photo site from work and from home. I can't see photos that are placed online at RTB.net from other users. My sig isn't showing up in my posts. What's going on? Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?...

Ti, I dont know exactly what and where the photos are doing but the lack of photos today may be related to a DNS / registration error with the redtailboa.net. They are working in getting it resolved though.
If you have pics that you want to get up sooner email them to me and I will host them for you.

Here is the deal... When RTB.net and .org were bought out from under Natas and we needed a new domain name, Lori registered RH.net and .org. Here is the kicker: She put them in her own name!! So now with her leaving, moving and NOT responding to anyone, I am guessing she 'took the names with her'. It wasn't set to exire until Jan '04, so we know it hasn't run out.
Natas is working on contacting her somehow so we can get this resolved. He honestly thought she had put the domains in his name. So, now it is a waiting game.

Actually she registerd the name until Jan of 06.
SO if it was her who did this, the only way to get it back is for Natas to prove he bought the domain after she registered it in her name. That means it has to go to court.

OR, just reassociate the ip with photo.redtailboa.net, and link that. Does Lori own the machine, or is it just the Dname that is in her name? It was my assumption that Natas owned/maintained the servers that this site and the photo site resided on. Maybe I am wrong, but seeing as I'm connected to www.rtb.net, why not reattach the photo site to photo.rtb.net. Just a late day idea...

I already spoke to Natas about moving it back to the old name. He said it needs to stay as it is (don't ask my why, I couldn't tell you). He owns the server and he thought he owned those two new domain names as well. He said he will get on here this weekend and see what he can do...

Natas referred to her as his 'lead' admin because she did a lot of work on the site. However, it seems that she took this to mean she was 'head honcho' admin. She would make all sorts of changes without really consulting anyone, but if another admin wanted to change something the idea had to go through her first. It made all the other admins feel bloody well useless. A meeting was called among the admins and we agreed there should be no 'lead' admin as Lori saw it. We had equal power, but according her, not equal say. She didn't like the idea of not being in control, so she left. After a few things came out about her even Clay removed her Global Admin status on his site and she left there, too. She owes people money and/or snakes and seems she has disappeared off the face of the planet. At least that is what she would like us to believe....
She was never asked to leave. She was welcome to stay even as an admin. I guess she didn't like the idea of playing fair and sharing her ball. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]
