For those of you who like to have your album look a bit different (like I do

) here is a tutorial. Some of this information was gleaned from the
Gallery website
By selecting [properties] in your album, you can change the way your album looks. You can pick your background color, text color, link color, select a background image, font, border size and border color.
edited to add: Because of the new default background, just entering a color for the background won't work anymore. The solution to this is to enter a non-existant url in the background image box
Colors can be entered in four ways:
RGB Hexadecimal:
color: #123DEF
RGB decimal value:color:
color: rgb(255,0,255)
RGB percentage:
color: rgb(100%,0%,100%_
Named value:
color: chartreuse

To use a background image (see
this and
this for examples) you need to have the URL for the pic just like you were going to post it. In the examples provided, I took the pic I wanted, washed it out quite a bit, then hid it after uploading. Right click the pic at it's full size, highlight and copy the URL, then paste it in the Background image box in the Properties window. Use a pic that is quite large for best results, otherwise it will 'tile'.
It is possible to change the font, but I have not found out what all the available ones are. I will continue to search.
The borders I think are self-explanetory.
