Can't move/delete photos?!?

Hi all. Once I get this resolved, I think I'll go ahead and open a photo bucket account... I posted pics under Member's Gallery. Then, I decided I wanted to move them to the Snakes section. Couldn't figure how how to just reassign the category, so I thought I would just upload them again, then delete the old ones. Can't figure out how to delete them... I read some of the previous posts and went to the CP, Attachments, but there's nothing there...

HELP?!?!?

You don't have permission to move threads or rename them. You cannot edit a post after 15 minutes. If you made the thread using photobucket links, you could break the photobucket links and start the thread in the correct section. Othewrwise, ask a moderator to move the thread for you.

What about deleting them?? They're considered threads even though they're pics posted to a gallery?

There is a way to delete them, but I don't remember how. I have done it before but it was a lot of work looking for the delete button.

Again, since you're not a mod you cannot delete a thread.

I think he's talking about deleting pictures from his photogallery. At least that's how I understood it.

I think he/she posted pics in a thread from a site album, but realized the thread was in the wrong section.

I posted pics to what I thought was my profile?? You know how you can select the category? I posted them to Member Gallery, then decided I wanted them just under snakes, so I posted them again thinking I'd just go back and delete them from Member Gallery. Now I would just like them deleted all together because I've got them on PhotoBucket and I'll just post a link...

wow...I hadn't realized how difficult our new galleries were. OK, here's what you do. Find the picture you want to delete. Click on it. It will take you to a larger version of the picture. Below it will be several buttons, such as "add to favorites" "print" and the one you're looking for, "edit photo"

Click on the edit photo button. At the very bottom of the this is a "delete photo" box. It has a warning that this is permanent. Check that box, and then hit "save changes"

Your picture should be gone.

Thank you so much Rev!!! It may be part to do with the fact the icons aren't labeled. I didn't even realize that was the edit button, but I probably didn't even think that the delete option would be under edit...

I also saw that's where ya go to change where the pic was uploaded to - i.e. Member's Gallery, Snakes, etc. which was my initial issue lol
