First off Welcome to RTB!!!
Moving fish is a bugger at times. I have only done it once and I lost two during the move b/c I didnt have the bucket closed up enough.
My advice would be for you to get a battery powered bubbler and some big buckets.
Someone should be along shortly with some more info

yeah best would be a half full 5 gallon bucket lined with a plastic garbage bag so you can keep the water from sloshing all over the place. I think i recall them selling like an airator pill, almost like an Alkaseltzer. not sure if they still do though. I would have their tank up and running when they get there. Normally when you lock in a bunch of air inside the bag , it will keep for a few hours. a 5 gallon bucket gives allot of water surface area for oxygen transfer.

I transported mine across Australia (4 day trip) in the boot of a car. I popped them into a polystyrene box (available from fish shops or greengrocers), sealed it up with tape, poked a small hole through the top and ran some silicone airline tubing in. Attached a battery operated pump and an airstone and did a 50% water change each night after I fed them.
Didn't lose a single fish. In fact, I also popped a fry net in for my pregnant female and she gave birth on the way.

The fish I keep here tend to travel well between freezer and frying pan
Actually, We only have a male beta, so moving is no biggie but from what I have read in the above posts, you should do well with the advice given.
And welcome aboard
