i finally got some pics of my gold nugget pleco which ive had for a few weeks, and the royal pleco which ive had for not even 24 hours.
the GN wouldnt show much, so i only got decent pics. its a L18, about 2.5"

now 2 of 3 clown loaches, and in the back to the left you can see the tail of my peacock eel

female L104 clown pleco

can u find the baby bristlenose pleco?

and last but not least, the L190 royal, about 2"

enjoy

Re: more pics!
Plecos are some of my favorite fish. I've got 3 right now- a high-finned spotted, a clown, and a bristlenose. There's a place here in Dallas that breeds green phantom plecos that sell for a couple hundred dollars. GORGEOUS.
I have a tiretrack eel too which is similar to the striped peacocks. How big is yours and what do you feed it?

Re: more pics!
Clown loaches are awesome if you can get a healthy group of them. I used to have a 55 with balas, clown loaches, green tiger barbs, and a 7 inch albino chocolate pleco. I miss that tank...
Oscars are awesome if that's all you have in the tank. They just seem to dominate a tank way too much for my tastes.

Re: more pics!
They are fairly sensitive to changes in water quality and water temperature. If the temperature changes more than a degree or so, it'll shock their system. My heater went out on my tank and I didn't know it and I lost all my loaches and half of my sharks. And they were HUGE sharks too... The smallest was 6 inches. I was devastated.

Re: more pics!
A while back, my gf and her sister had oscars. Supposedly you should be able to put oscars with other cichlids, but the oscars just mowwed(sp?) down on everything but the convict, who was able to stay hidden. When her sis put the convict with other stuff (after the oscars were just too big) it antagonized the other fishes. Personally, I thought it was all fun stuff. Anyhow, cool old fish pictures.
The oscars and convict both ended up back at the petstore. By that time, my gf, and now wife, were into reptiles.

Re: more pics!
i dont wanna give anyone here the wrong idea. i love the oscar, i really do. but my other fish come first. i have had them all much much longer and the oscar just antagonizes them. my plecos used to be incredibly active. now they always hide. i cant even give them zucchini cuz the oscar will eat it =/
