tiger barb question

I have a nice sized school of large tiger barbs in my RES tank.
Now, she doesn't bother the tiger barbs except to chase them away from the rosey reds and (this one's too darn cute) if they school too close to her basking spots & she's basking, she will dive in the water & scare them away lol.
They'll remain in that tank when I upgrade my turtle's tank because, while I never really liked keeping barbs, these ones are special to me now haha.

Anyway, my question: can eating too many roseys be bad for my barbs?
They get a huge variety of food but can't resist the roseys .
Maybe I'm wording it wrong but in all of my searches I can't seem to find anything near what I'm looking for.

It's not fin nipping either.... the barbs eat the whole rosey. They are so predatory it's ridiculous! It started off as the 2 big males picking off the small feeders but now they actually school around the roseys and jsut assasinate them. It's like watching piranha!
I only got them because they were the tiniest ones in the tank @ Petco during my supply runs & they were getting bullied so I figured they'd be nice turtle snacks lol. They have not only survived but THRIVED!

live food for fish should only be a treat. It makes water quality bad fast. Stick to pellet food. use that only for a treat
