try the flake ialways mix my dry food all together theres also a company called spectra i think thats the name my friend owns a store in new jersey he swears by the stuff

WOW!!!!!! A good friend of mine has a gorgeous salt water set up. I can't believe the work that's involved with that. He actually makes his own saltwater in his basement and has to swap that out all the time.

They never seem to eat the flakes. I have read that the convicts will eat anything you put in their tanks. Leave it up to me to get the oddballs. LOL. I'll try it though. I'll also check into the spectra.

No I havent tried tetra bites. I had a huge container of food called something attack or something like that. That seemed to be there favorite until my dogs ate it. GRRR.

Well I went out and got two new fish today.  I got a picus cat fish, and I was told a red terror but I believe it's a green terror. Looks like I'll be going with a bigger tank. LOL. I don't have pics of the cat fish, but here's a quick lousy(sorry) pic of the terror. Sorry he's still in his bag. This pic does him no justis. His tips are nice and red, and he has blueish green iridescent
