Planted tank with Discus

Anyone got suggestions on type of plants to have with Discus? I am starting a new freshwater tank. Basically I got a few sword plants, 130Watts of light, nice filter system, nice piece of wood, flurite gravel and 10 neons. I would love to get the tank well established first before I buy a few Discus.

the 10 neons will make real pretty feeders. :P From that I understand about discus you really need acidic water. and maybe even slightly brackish. Temps need to be 90-92ish if memory serves me right.

Since they are cichlids they realld don't tolerate other tankmates, and are very easily stressed. Plus also with them being cichlids not sure how a planted tank would really work out, since they cichlids usually uproot the plants often.

It's been years since I kept fish but this all sticks in my head.

Discus seem to do well in planted tanks. They're one of the less destructive cichlids, like angelfish. However, I've been told their husbandry needs to be just right, as they stress easily. My mother attempted keeping discus, and even followed their husbandry requirements carefully. But they didn't last very long. Something must have stressed them out. Then again, I believe most discus are wild-caught, so that could very well have been a factor.
