I'm afraid that your icon/avatar can only be one on the avaiable list of smileys and Anime. Admins on the site get specially created avatar images, but the rest of us get to enjoy the standard assortment. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
In terms of putting images in your post, it's pretty simple. If your pics are hosted on a website that allows photo linking, you're already three-quarters of the way there. When you want to insert a pic in a post, click on the "IMAGE" button under the row of smiley faces. This will pop up a box into which you insert the URL for the image itself. When you Submit your post, the image will be coded into the post.
Alternately, you can use the "URL" button to link to a pic page on your site. Either way will work. As i understand though, if you ever want to post a snake for sale in the Trading Post, the pic will need to be in the ad itself.
