posting pictures

I’m sure this question has be asked a hundreds of times,
Could anyone tell me how to post up pictures and how to put a picture beside my name?

In the darker blue menu that goes across the top of every page there is one that says "User CP" which is your User Control Panel. Click that. Then on the top left a small list of options will appear. One of which is "Edit Avatar" That avatar refers to the small picture next to your name. There you can pick an avatar available on the site. Or link to one that is on another internet location, by copying and pasting the internet address/url/link into that appropriate box that says "link to off-site avatar" or something to that effect. Or you can click the button that says "browse" to pick a picture that is saved on your computer. Just remember it can't exceed the size of 120 x 120 pixels.

For posting pictures in a post you have 2 options as well. Click to reply to a thread and there will be the option to "manage attachments" below the area you type you reply in (this is only if you click reply rather than typing in the little box that automatically appears for you to "post quick reply" in. Click to "manage attachments and browse for a picture on your computer. Or if you want to link to pictures on another site and have them appear in your post you need to use [img] tags

To do this type [img] then paste the link to the picture in between then type [/ img] without the space between the / and img
