I dont really think they have "favorites" just depends on what it prefers really. I think that its still recovering from the stress of the RI it had so thats why it isnt eating. Give it time.....but what kind of snake? How old? If all else fails get a fuzzy mouse or rat pup live, they cant do anything to your snake really. Also I wouldnt reccomend feeding a chick, I was going to but found out there are risks involved and also its a messy clean up.

Fuzzy is a bad plan, I think. Don't fuzzy's have their eyes open? If it can open it's eyes, it has teeth. It can do damage!
Snakemann, I think its a RTB, four foot long... can't rember an age.
Louise, someone will come along and give you more info, be patient

Louise, PLEASE be patient. It may take weeks before she eats again. There is nothing to worry about yet.

Snakemann, please wait till you have enough information before attempting to give advice. I'm sure you mean well and I know she didn't provide enough at first at least in this thread which seems to be a lot like an earlier thread....but anyway...someone here someday might not know better and think you might know what you are talking about and take your advice so please....refrain.
Louise, as stated in your other thread. Your snake is just getting over an RI and if I remember correctly was on antibiotics. It would be highly unusual if your snake had an appetite at this time so like LdyDrgn said...please be patient. A 4 foot boa is in no danger of starvation unless several months (not days or weeks...MONTHS) have passed. It's best not to stress her right now. It's ok to offer a f/t rat once a week or so for now but please don't push it. When she feels better, she will eat. Concentrait right now on making sure the RI is all gone and stays away.

Ok Julius w/e. I'm telling her from my info. A fuzzy mouse isnt going to do damage to a 4ft RTB if it is kept in for 30 minutes or less.
