baby boa? baby what? Most baby boas will take pink rats. Some seem to have a dislike for rats at first but should take hopper mice. Every now and then they won't take those either but will take a couple of fuzzy mice...whatever works right? Some won't eat anything at all...that's a whole other issue all together. Anyway...I would try pink rats first as they are better for your snake anyway....assuming we are talking about a boa.

You should switch ASAP. Feeding live is dangerous to your snake. Even little babies. Rodents can carry parasites such as worms that can pass to your snake when it eats live prey. When your snake needs larger prey items with teeth and claws those too can be perilous to your pet. It's possible for a rat or mouse to bite your snakes eye out or possibly bite right through the skull into the brain. Those are actually mild compared to some feeding problems with live rodents. Most of the time your snake is subjected to being chewed up and then dies a slow death from infection. I can't express how nasty it can be.
Please look at this post
You should also switch to rats as soon as you can. Eventually your snake will have to eat rats, so the sooner you switch the easier that will be.
I hope this helps!
Ted
