Hey Zelph,
Maybe she is getting ready for shed, most usually won't eat when getting ready for shed. At any rate 17 days is no big deal. What kind of snake do you have?
People probably already told you this but I haven't so, Welcome to Redtail!

Zep you may have already said this once but what are the temps? Some snakes won't eat if their temps aren't right same w/ humidity.

If you are really worried you can put her in a smal container with a DEAD piece of food and leave her in with it for a couple of hours. make sure you put in a quit placeor even put it in the cool side of your tank.

Zelph....Welcome to RTB!!
LIke the others here have said, 17 days is no big deal. You should keep in mind that snakes can go months and months w/o a meal. Only offer meals seven days apart. It is sometimes tempting to offer prey items more often than this when you are anxious about a snake that is off feed. If you do this however, you can stress the snake and prolong the very problem that you are trying to solve.
The other info you have here is good. Please keep us posted on your baby! Good luck!
